25 Loyola students and five teachers and staff spent nine days in East Wheeling and Charleston, West Virginia serving and learning about the community and its social justice issues.

Thomas > The Wheeling Jesuit University logo.  Loyola High School partnered with the university's Appalachian Institute to produce this service immersion.

Thomas > Fredom School tee shirt.  The Freedom School is a summer service project offered by Laughlin Memorial Chapel to the children of East Wheeling.  This program was one of the Cub service sites during the service immersion.

Thomas > Freedom School at Laughlin Chapel starts each day with an upbeat and energizing opening ceremony in which the Cubs participated most days.  Some of the Cubs participated in the program daily.
